This concert brought traditional folk music and familiar classic golden songs to the audience.
The City Councilor Nick Mantas from Scarborough Agincourt came to the concert to congratulate the success of the performance and wish everyone a happy holiday. Ms. Zhu Yanyan, Chairman of COFN, firstly welcomed all the audience to brave the light snow and severe cold to participate in this warm community concert, and thanked the outstanding local musicians for bringing wonderful festival music to the community, and also thanked the Canadian government for the active funding for music learning activities for the elderly in the community.
Our local professional musician Ms.Yang Xiaolei’s pipa group, Ms. Cao Lina’s guzheng group, Mr.Wu Lipeng’s flute solo, Mr. Li Huiming’s folk music group, and the conductor Ms. Amely Zhou and the CCO orchestra with three generations of people played together to present
a brilliant collection of ancient and modern, Chinese and Western classical songs.The audience also enthusiastically participated in the performance that was ended in a joyful and peaceful atmosphere.

世嘉堡爱静阁市议员万利高和夫人特意到现场祝贺演出成功，并祝大家节日愉快。加拿大一同家园文化中心主席朱彦晏女士首先欢迎各位观众冒着小雪严寒来参加这场充满温馨的社区音乐会，感谢杰出的本地音乐家们为社区带来节日美妙的音乐，也感谢加拿大政府为活跃社区耆老音乐学习活动提供资助。
参加本场音乐会表演的有本地杰出的专业音乐家，专业老师杨晓磊的琵琶小组，曹丽娜的古筝小组，吴立鹏的笛子独奏，李惠明的民乐小组，老中青三代同堂的大乐团，一起演奏汇聚古今中西名曲，精彩纷呈。观众也热情似火地参与演出。音乐会在欢乐祥和的气氛中结束。
