Music, Creativity & Community in the Park
Join us every Wednesday this August for ROSYLAND, a free outdoor concert series where music, creativity, and community come together in nature.
Designed for families, neighbours, and music lovers of all ages, with live performances, hands-on activities, arts and crafts, and opportunities to discover music in new ways.
Whether you're bringing your children, spending time with friends, or simply looking for a relaxing time, all ages are welcome and we are pet friendly.
We're also celebrating environmental sustainability through community partnerships, nature-inspired activities, creative reuse, and environmental education.
🎨 This Year's Theme: Feelings & Emotions
Music helps us celebrate joy, find calm, release stress, express ourselves, and connect with others. Each week explores how different musical styles and instruments communicate emotions and bring people together.
Listening, walking around, exploring our creative activity stations, dancing to the music, or even napping in a cozy spot; just simply enjoy an evening in the park.

4:00 PM | Soundbath Under the Sky (w/ Trish Lanns & Karen Choi)
Exhale in the heart of the city. Gentle movement, breath, EFT tapping, and a restorative sound bath. All abilities welcome; bring a mat or blanket!
6:00 PM | Language of the Heart (w/ Gloria Yip, Heng Han Hou, Clara Nguyen-Tran, Peter Eam, hosted by Karen Choi)
String quartet music and poetry to sit with the feelings words can't hold.

4:00 PM | Unscripted Movement x Storytelling (w/ Sonia Loung & Elena Spanu)
Be a part of a group music-making experience. Instruments provided; no skill level required!
6:00 PM | The Human Voice (Introduction to Opera) (w/ Nicole Dubinsky, John Holland, Kimly Wang)
Exploring some of the most intricate ways of expressing emotion through opera's most famous selections is a great way to get introduced to opera!

4:00 PM | Music for Toddlers (w/ Jialiang Zhu & Gloria Yip)
A fun, interactive musical journey specially designed for young audiences (age 0-5) that takes you through songs, stories, and movement. Bring your mat or blanket, and we will music together!
6:00 PM | My Life, Thru Music (w/ Rosy Zhang, Kemin Zhang & friends)
An intimate, musical autobiography in the form of a handpicked selection of favourite tunes, performed with love.

No one—not even the musicians—knows exactly what will happen for this closing show. Watch musicians from different backgrounds turn listening into an adventure, creating music on the spot that celebrates curiosity and the joy of connecting without words.

音乐不仅能传递欢笑、抚平心绪、缓解压力、表达情感，更能引起共鸣，让我们的心紧紧相连。我们将一起探索不同风格的音乐与各类乐器如何诉说细腻的情感，把人类凝聚在一起。
不论是静静倾听、漫步公园、打卡创意体验站、还是随韵律自由起舞，都尽情享受这美妙的公园之夜吧！
