Boundless Imagery of the Heart —— An Art Exhibition by Ren Ya

Presented by the Atlantic Artists Association and Yajing Art Studio, this evocative exhibition will be held from May 24 to June 1, 2025, at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto, 150 N Rivermede Rd, Concord, ON, L4K 5B1.
Featuring 50 masterfully selected works, Ren Ya unveils her latest explorations and unique visions within the timeless realm of Eastern ink painting.
Boundless Imagery of the Heart speaks to a state of serenity without borders, where the mind flows free and creativity knows no bounds. Through expressive brushwork and the fluid grace of ink, Ren Ya engages in a profound dialogue with nature, emotion, and the spiritual world—each piece a meditation, each stroke a whisper from the soul.
Artistic Achievements and Honors:
Her painting was selected by the China Post Office for commemorative stamps and coins to mark the 70th anniversary of China’s victory in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the world’s anti-fascist war.
In 2017, her painting was again selected by China Post as the 19th-anniversary stamp of the Communist Party of China, released nationwide.
In 2018, at the Hanmo Qingfeng International Art Exhibition, she won the Gold Award for Outstanding Ink Painting and the Cultural and Art Inheritance Award.
In 2018, participated in the "McMichael Canadian Art Collection: Canadian Art Gallery" exhibition at the McMichael Canadian Art Gallery and won a Gold Medal.
In November 2019, held a solo exhibition in Toronto, showcasing 80 works.
On April 15, 2022, hosted a solo exhibition "Mo Cai Yinghui" in Toronto, displaying 40 works.

Training and Background:
Disciple of contemporary Chinese master painter Zhusan Hu (Vice-Chairman of China Modern National Artists Association), who himself was a disciple in the renowned lineage of Baishi Qi, one of China’s most influential modern artists.
Studied under Jiangdong Sun, a renowned Chinese painter, and Pu Zhou, a famous Chinese landscape painter.
Achieved the status of "Master Chinese Painter (GuoHuaJia)" under the ZSQ9000A National Arts Certification system in 2005.
