This year marks the 20th Anniversary of Asian Heritage Month, and the Canada One Family Network Cultural Center hosted a vibrant carnival celebration for the Greater Toronto Area community.
The event featured:
A grand professional performance by Asian artists from various cultural backgrounds
A “Natural Asia” themed art exhibition
A children’s playground
A traditional food festival

The Asian Heritage Cultural and Arts Festival, organized by the Canada One Family Network Cultural Center, provided a platform for artists from multiple Asian ethnic groups, including Chinese, South Asian Tamil, West Asian Persian, East Asian Korean, and North Asian Mongolian, to showcase their rich and diverse cultural heritage. With exceptional artistic talents, heartfelt passion, and positive energy, the participating artists brought messages of peace and friendship to the community.
A special thanks goes to the hundreds of local artists, dozens of sponsors, and nearly 100 volunteers who contributed to the success of this 20th Anniversary Celebration of Asian Heritage Month.
Held at the Bridlewood Outdoor Plaza (Finch/Warden), the festival attracted tens of thousands of attendees and food enthusiasts. The lively Asian Cultural and Arts Festival also featured food stalls presented by local businesses representing different ethnic groups. The event welcomed the early days of summer in the Scarborough community, bringing joy and vibrancy as it emerged from the shadows of the pandemic.
