The Canadian One Family Network hosted the Asian Heritage Culture Festival during Asian Heritage Month from May 19th to May 26th, 2024, at Bridlewood Mall (2900 Warden Ave @ Finch), featuring two special concerts on May 26th at Fairview Library (35 Fairview Mall Dr. @ Don Mills).
Notable attendees included Scarborough-Agincourt MP Jean Yip, Scarborough North MP Shaun Chen, MPP Aris Babikian, and Ward 22 Toronto City Councillor Nick Mantas.
Thanks to the Government of Canada, Heritage Canada for funding, title sponsor Shengyun Logistics, and over 150 community partners and sponsors. More than 500 local artists and arts organizations supported the event, showcasing vibrant cultural performances from various Asian ethnicities. Highlights included classical music and dance, martial arts, lion dance, band performances, opera, orchestra, choir, ethnic fashion shows, and more.
Running concurrently from May 24 to 26, the Asian Delicious Carnival enriched the festival with a rich experience of traditions. Over a hundred community organizations and media sponsors, including Yorkbbs, Omni2 TV, Urban Net, A1 Radio, Canadian Times, Chinese Hotspot, and Chinese Headlines, supported the events.
